Mental health First Aid training courses

The importance of mental health First Aid
Mental health is about how we think, feel and behave. Unfortunately, one in four people in the UK will have a mental health problem at some point. Most mental health problems tend to be mild and short-term and with a little help can be successfully treated. Anxiety and depression are the most common and are often triggered by some difficult events in life, such as bereavement. Their symptoms of these issues can also affect the workplace.
Our mental health first aid courses have been designed to help employers improve mental health in their workplace and enable individuals with mental health issues to thrive. The courses are based on the “Thriving at Work” report 2017, which includes recommendation for employers. They help employers and colleagues to know what to look for and how approach and offer signposting.
There is a growing need for First Aid for Mental Health in workplaces and all other organisations. Learn about different mental health conditions, what you can do and what not to do.
